A wish of death

It was time to move on.
Dan knew this would happen, and he had saved Oliver the liberty of "throwing" him out the house. However, he wasn't ready to go home yet. He couldn't face Susanna's devastated expression again.

So he knew where he was going. Davina. Maybe, just maybe she'd let him stay there for a few days.

"This has got to be my best one YET," The squeal that followed, as Susanna stood infront of a delicately detailed ice statue, could have shattered glass, "I've just gotta show Da--, well, someone."

Completing her first ice sculpture had put her on a high, until she realised there was no one to show. Then it felt like just another item she had created for the money.
She held her head in cupped hands and sobbed quietly. "I miss him," She whispered to the air, "I just want him back."

One ring should do it. To be honest he couldn't be bothered to ring the bell more than that. He waited impatiently by the door, waiting for her to open it for him. After a few minutes she finally decided to show her face.
She wore a scowl as she opened the door.
"You." That word alone made Dan feel uneasy.

"Hi Davina." Dan tried to be as calm and kind as possible.
"How dare you come here." She spat the words out at him immediately after he had finished.
“Davina, I’m sorry. Can we still just be friends?” By the look on Davina’s face, Dan wasn’t sure he actually wanted be even that.
“I’ll kill you.” She said between her teeth in such a way that Dan couldn’t figure out if it was an empty threat or not.
“Davina—“
“GET OUT!” She shrieked, interrupting his final plea. He knew not to go any further.

He turned on his heels and ran away, as far as he could get. He was scared, and he wasn’t going to deny it.

There was only one place to go now.

Knock. Knock. Knock. "Susanna?", Knock. Knock. Knock, "Susanna!?".

She walked round the house to the front porch, wiping away any sign of tears. There he was. The man she had willed to appear, standing there, knocking furiously on the front door.

"I know you're angry Susanna, but, please can you just let me in." He looked like he was talking to the door  as if he were crazy. She almost laughed.

"I'm right here." She smiled, climbing up the stairs.

"Let me come back, please." His eyes stared innocently at her, which made it hard for her to look sternly at him, but somehow she managed.

"I don't know why I'm saying this, maybe it's the hormones raging through my body, but, I'm wiling to have you back. Just don't do that again. Just don't." Emotions were so high that she started to tear up, but choked them down again as she was determined to stay strong.

"I won't, I promise." He sounded like a ten year old child promising not to do something stupidly dangerous, but that changed as he swooped her into his arms and kissed her passionately.

They stayed like that for a while, but, remembering something she unwillingly pulled away.
"By the way," She whispered into his ear, "I'm pregnant."
